A direct continuation of the coal-fired powerstation, following its destruction, and a nearby mine shaft. The map is now far more dangerous, with fire and smoke hazards everywhere. The player also makes an important choice here that affect's Mark's journey to Turnip Hill later on.
Story
Mark regains consciousness to hear Robin yelling at him to get out of the now burning and flooded powerstation. Mark opens a gate to cease the flooding and redirect the fire, escaping the powerstation. After leaving the building, Robin alerts him that he's stuck in a nearby control room, and smoke is starting to fill the room.
Mark can choose between exiting the facility, or activating the smoke ventilation system to save Robin. Progressing through another building, Mark is sent falling down in another elevator shaft into an abandoned, flooded, caved-in mine. Undeterred, Mark finds a way back up and exits the mine shaft to the edge of a bay.

A mushroom-infested mine, although these unique orange bio-luminescent mushrooms have no discernible effect on Mark. Notes can be found near the cave-ins detailing that two explorers were employed to search for a 'statue' inside the cavern, possibly UGU.
One of the explorers quit and left the mine, while the other managed to find the statue, but noted that it was too large to move, and he became trapped behind a cave-in. His strained breathing can be heard from behind the cave.
