Stalburg Mass Transit (SMT) is the organization responsible for operating and maintaining metro, regional trains and trams in Stalburg Region, including primarily the cities of Stalburg, Tarfell and other neighbouring municipalities. Sometimes prior to 2026, it also started to operate the buses.
The organization has quite a big role in the corruption of Stalburg, as they are partially responsible for the cover-up of the Metro Accident.
They are known for bad working conditions, dangerous tunnels and most of all, ignoring protests.
When Mark visits the Pitheath Metro Station, a lot of protesters can be seen on the outside of the station. This is not the first time there has been a protest.
Operations[edit | edit source]
Metro Lines[edit | edit source]

- A loop line around central Stalburg from the central railway station.
- The Coastal Line
- This line runs from Fisch River Railway Station along the coast and through the city to Stalburg International Airport.
- The Ampstrand Line
- This line runs from Ampstrand through central Stalburg to Stalburg International Airport.
- The East Port Line
- This line runs services from Whiprock to Obenseuer through central Stalburg.
Trams[edit | edit source]
A tram network, spanning over the Stalburg city only, is located within the A fare zone and does not extend over to neighbouring municipalities. The rolling stock consists of two-sections articulated trams, painted in blue. Trams most likely share one universal ticket type with the metro and regional trains.
Buses[edit | edit source]
Prior to sometimes before the 2026, bus services were most likely operated by the Kolkhoz Transport, as they bear no SMT branding and are excluded from any SMT informational boards. Buses are seen in several different liveries in INFRA, including red and white, but the most common is the blue one, most likely representing the regular bus lines, red color is also seen on intercity coaches, which is unclear whether they were serviced by the same operator.
In Obenseuer, a decommissioned bus, now under the SMT branding, is seen on the market square in the Residential district zone, that used to be running on the line 54 Centrum-Obenseuer.
Regional Trains[edit | edit source]
Along with the metro operations, SMT also runs regional train services within the Stalburg Region.
