The Two Gorges Dam was the 2nd dam to be constructed by [[Hammer Valley Hydro]], owned by [[Alex Hartman]]. The construction of this dam put the company in a bad financial situation, and they eventually sold off to [[Walter Corporation]]. After the company was sold, both this dam, and the [[Reserve2|Hammer Valley Dam]] both began to fall apart.

Soon after the dam was constructed, Hammer Valley Hydro was sold to the Walter Corporation. After the company was sold, working conditions had become very unsafe for employees of Hammer Valley Hydro's plants, and on June of 1892, the company went bankrupt.  

During the events of INFRA, [[Carla Diethart|Carla]] and [[Amit Rahal|Amit]] from the [[National Consulting Group|NCG]] were tasked with inspecting the crumbling dam, while [[Markku Siltanen|Mark]] was off inspecting Hammer Valley Hydro's older dam. Later in the timeline of INFRA (Chapters 7-8), the Two Gorges Dam had collapsed causing massive flooding and damaged the [[Npp|Blackrock Nuclear Power Plant]].
