Normal Rats

Normal rats can spawn in nearly all outdoor spaces and some indoor locations. Rats try to run away from the player, but they can be caught if the player is able to get their crosshair on it and press the interact button in time. Once the rat is in the player inventory, they are able to slaughter it, giving them rat meat. Rat meat can be eaten directly, lowering health and tasting terrible. It can also be cooked into a rat steak, which doesn't hurt the player, but still tastes terrible. Rat meat can be processed further by grinding it into minced meat, which can be used in several recipes.

Glowing Rats

Glowing rats are nearly identical to normal rats, the only difference being their green glow. Glowing rats can also be caught and slaughtered, resulting in glowing rat meat. Glowing rat meat taste varies depending on if the player has the mushroom addiction and how strong it is. Eating glowing rat meat can also damage the player. While it can be cooked into a glowing rat steak, which does not hurt the player, it also lowers its taste. Glowing rat meat can also be minced and used in several recipes.

There is a Cheap Rats for sale vending machine in Deekula C, this sells a normal rat for 4 OC, a glowing rat for 5 OC, rat meat for 3 OC and glowing rat meat for 4 OC
