Markku Siltanen is a structural analyst and engineer employed by the [[National Consulting Group]], and the protagonist of the game. He is commonly referred to as Mark, as he considers it easier to pronounce than his actual name (Mark has a sticky note outside his office stating "When in doubt, call me Mark"). He speaks with a heavy accent, and talks to himself under certain circumstances. Player will never see his face, even in the mirror (Which is put as a joke in the first ending with a sticky note on a mirror saying "You're a vampire Mark").
