The metro tunnels are the tunnels that Stalburg rely upon for mass transit. The top level of tunnels, the ones commuters will see, are in poor repair. Steam valves are broken, and walls are crumbling. Parts of the tunnels are built upon other far older tunnels, but with minimal support below the ground. Witnessed firsthand by Mark, the recent structural instability of Stalburg afforded a metro tunnel collapse, swallowing him and his maintenance tram. | |||
