National Consulting Group Spc. (N.C.G) is a national engineering and architectural consultation company founded after a fusion of many smaller engineering companies. They primarily focus on the analysis and repair of civil infrastructure and buildings. The company has an unknown number of offices, with a major office located in the Alcista Building in Point Elias in Stalburg, acting as a headquarters for the region.
In 2016, National Consulting Group won the rights to the greater Stalburg region's repair and maintenance.
In August 2016, National Consulting Group faced heavy controversy after Paul Lauwens accidentally ordered the demolition of a late 1800s historic residential building.
Maintenance of StalburgEdit
In 2016, National Consulting Group was awarded the rights to the repair and maintenance of almost all civil infrastructure within the greater Stalburg area. This included critical pieces of infrastructure such as the Two Gorges Dam, Hammer Valley Dam and the nearby Bergmann tunnels.
These rights were awarded through a democratic bid following the city recently emerging from a corruption scandal, in which it was found that city authorities were siphoning critical maintenance funds for their own personal needs, effectively denying maintenance for several decades.
Following a well-documented survey of critical water infrastructure, it was announced that National Consulting Group will be conducting any future maintenance of water tunnels. By the 2026, all water tunnels around the city had been renovated, except for Obenseuer.
Other operationsEdit
National Consulting Group was set by the Tenement Foundation as the main engineering consultant for construction of Generic Apartment Building project, adjacent to the Pitheath Metro Station on the southern side.
The company was also set by the City of Stalburg as the main engineering and architectural consultant for constructin of Bay Tunnel project starting from Castle Rock island, with an expected completion date of 2020.
ControversyEdit
National Consulting Group faced controversy following August 2016, after it was responsible for the accidental demolition of Löfrgen's Massif, a historical late 1800s residential building. Damage to the façade was very extensive and it was found to be cheaper to replace the building than to repair it. The owners of Löfrgen's Massif have stated that they are attempting to sue National Consulting Group for damages caused.
Security breachEdit
On the night from August 7 to August 8, 2016, a massive Alcista IT attack has been launched by Pitheath hackers, targeting company servers. In the attack many documents, maintainance reports, classified information and other protected files regarding Stalburg's infrastructure were lost.
CorruptionEdit
In the past Paul Lauwens was approached by the Stalburg Nuclear Weapons with a deal proposal, to deliver any information and documents related to the project in exchange of getting a position as the operations director of National Consulting Group in Stalburg. In spite of this revelation, Paul Lauwens was able to remain in position after the S.N.W documents had been released to the public.
