Robin is an employee, presumably for the Bergmann Group, assigned to various maintenance jobs in the tunnels and in various power and water treatment plants.
He is known to not do a very good gob, hiding valves, breaking stuff and generally not being helpful.
Notes to Robin can be seen all over the game. Other employees, usually Erik, leave notes around the Bergmann Tunnels with wording like, "Robin, fix this", or "Robin, don't touch this!"
Robin is often the one responsible for workplace injuries, too. He nearly kills Mark at the end of INFRA: Part 2 by giving him incorrect startup instructions, causing the plant's turbines to explode violently, and in a shower of sparks.
Nobody knows what's actually wrong with Robin, if he has a disease, is under the influence of the infamous green shrooms, or just always drunk off of Osmo Olut.
Theories exist that Robin is only continually employed because he is such an idiot. It is suspected he is kept on hand to be used for a cover-up.
