The bridge | The bridge had been undergoing renovations, and a document details that concrete of a poor quality was being used to meet a schedule deadline, resulting in chunks of concrete falling off the bridge as trains passed by. | ||
After escaping the mine, Mark gets his bearings and first breath of fresh air in some time. Mark has to cross the bridge's scaffolding and make his way to Castle Rock Island. When he approaches a series of abandoned warehouses, the island's power goes out, likely a cascading failure from the destroyed coal-fired power station. Exiting the warehouse, Mark can enter the neighborhood streets through stair access, or take a detour through a small cavern. | |||
