Tunnel4
Tunnel 4 is the final map of chapter 3, the end of Mark's journey through the Bergmann tunnels. It contains several hydroelectric generators, and the construction site of a new section of tunnels. This map, containing half of the raft sequence, boasts the first non-missable sightings of the green mushrooms.

Story
Decommissioned in 1993, these sections of tunnels were maintained by a crew of three engineers, two on duty at a time. Originally, Erik and Robin were the caretakers of this section of tunnels. Erik and Robin had found patches of the previously seen green mushrooms, which have proliferated after the abandonment of the tunnels. Erik planned on harvesting these mushrooms, letting Robin know. It seems to be that the duo had no interest in maintaining the tunnels, and were more intent on these drugs. A while after, Erik suffered an accident attempting to power on generator 2, and was sent to the hospital. A replacement engineer, only known by the initials JK, was hired to maintain the tunnels along side Robin. JK slowly lost his patience with Robin over months, and eventually developed an apathetic attitude towards the tunnels as a whole. At one point, hopeful for the new tunnel construction to alleviate his constant work of maintaining the outdated sections, but the construction was halted and the tunnels shut down completely before JK could realize his hopes. Meanwhile, the construction personnel and overseers were working hard to build the new section of tunnels. Their use of dynamite to excavate was disturbing the already fragile sections, accelerating the deterioration and making way for collapse. Jeff Walter, the new owner of the company, began misallocating funds. This slowed construction to a halt, causing unrest among the workers. The construction was never completed, and the minor tunnels collapsed. Mark comes in several years later to investigate the area, and restores power to continue through.
Locations
Bergmann Power Plant
The Bargmann power plant are a set of hydroelectric generators that control and use the flow of water through the tunnels to generate electricity for the city, namely the steel mill and other minor industrial sectors. The company came into financial trouble when the steel mill shut down, no longer having a major client to sell their electricity to. In 1993, Erik and Robin were the custodians of the power plant, and failed to properly maintain the plant, ending in hospitalization of Erik after a ceiling collapse and one of the generators breaking down. Constantly.
The New Bergmann Tunnel
The new Bergmann Tunnel was an ambitious construction project aiming to rejuvenate the failing structure of the tunnel, add new advanced control rooms, and increase tunnel flow. The construction was going well until the company ran into financial issues with their major client going under, and a new owner mismanaging and halting construction completely. The use of dynamite in the excavation of the new tunnels also lead to severe disturbance of the older tunnels, leading to the collapse. As the company went went bankrupt, the tunnels and construction were abandoned.
