Amit Rahal is an employee of the National Consulting Group, tasked with investing the Two Gorges Dam alongside Carla Diethart. The pair investigate the Two Gorges Dam at the same time Mark explores the Hammer Valley Hydro Dam.
It is evidenced by a call received later by Mark that their report came back showing signs of extreme damage. It is not directly known where Amit and Carla went after leaving the dam, but it can be assumed they returned to NCG offices in the Alcista building, as that is where they are next seen.
They are seen in the emergency conference setup in the Alcista building atrium once Mark returns there. Following this meeting, they are sent to the Blackrock Nuclear Power Plant. There, they find themselves locked in an office off the atrium. The achievement "Locksmith" is centered around Mark successfully finding a way to access the office Amit and Carla have found themselves locked in.
