Stormdrain is another leg in the player's journey to the office. It has references to a shady Stalburg Underground, and several mysterious happenings.

Story

Markku escapes SNW through the ventilation shaft, and finds a diary left by another escapee. The diary attempted to contact anyone else who escaped SNW, but it hadn't been opened before Mark's arrival. The laments and apologies only heard by barren walls and structural analysts. Mark continues through the ventilation shafts. He enters tunnels below a metro, and as trains pass overhead, the dust falling form the ceiling makes it obvious that this tunnel won't stand for much longer. Steam pipes in the hall have burst, and a water pipe room nearby has flooded. Mark must manipulate the valves to continue through a locked floodgate. Inside is a control room with fuses and colorful valves. Someone had built a coffee machine nearby. Mark repairs the machine and hallucinates vividly. He finds himself in a large undergound tunnel. One end has been blocked up, and water is quickly building pressure. The water meter is jammed here, locking anyone into the tunnel. The blockage breaks, and a torrent of water flushes through, drowning and crushing anyone left int he tunnel. Mark makes his way through to relative safety. An obviously mentally unstable man had set up shelter in this room, idolizing the mini-trains. Mark rides these trains through the tunnels, and eventually abandons the minitrain in favor of a ventilation shaft.

Locations

Sewer

The sewer is a filthy area under Stalburg, backed up by sludge and litter, and occupied by homeless squatters.

Minitrain Rails

The minitrain rails are a barely-used system for conveying minitrains through the underground of Stalburg. Rails are not fixed, only labeled as broken. The door systems are controlled remotely by absent personnel, and some minitrains are even set running in loops without supervision.

Mushroom Cellar

The mushroom cellar is a hidden and locked area around the stormdrain area. Inside is a living space, a green mushroom farm hidden behind some metal, and a document referring to blue mushrooms with healing powers.

UGU Cave

The UGU cave is a hidden cave in the storm drains. Deep within a natural formation is a deformed statue surrounded by blue mushrooms and some blue plants hanging from the ceiling. An odd noise plays around the cave. Mark can take a picture of it, but will not comment.
