7 months after the release of Act III of INFRA, on April 24, 2018 a spin-off game titled Open Sewer was announced, focusing on the expanded gameplay mechanics and the setting from INFRA's 9th chapter. The game released into an Early Access on Steam platform on December 12, 2018 and continued receiving update support until June 23, 2019, when a desire to redesign the main level and split it into multiple smaller ones was announced.
After halting the game's updates, the community was updated on the progress with screenshots from new and redesigned locations and occasional development posts. For 5 years the game, its design, gameplay mechanics, visuals and levels had been reworked and overhauled to be re-released into an Early Access on November 17, 2023 under a new name, previous owners of the Open Sewer received the overhaul as an update.
