Stolland (TSL) (originally: Terästalia) is a Scandinavian non-European Union country located on Baltic Sea in Northern Europe. The country borders with Sweden on the northern-east, Norway on the northern-west and Denmark on the south. The capital city is Stalburg and the country is divided into at least 6 different administrative regions. The governing body of the country is the National Parliament.

As of the state of 1977, the country was neither part of NATO, nor the Warsaw Pact. National Parks are managed by the Ministry of National Forests and Wilderness.

License Plates

Like most European countries, Stolland has adopted a format that satisfies the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic, based on European Union design. The dimensions of the license plates are 508 mm × 111,76 mm. The Euroband is present on the far-left side of the plate, with the Stolland's flag on the top and the country code on the bottom. In Stolland, it is mandatory to equip vehicle with rear-mounted license plate, while the front-mounted license plate is optional.

TSL

The registration code begins with two-letter code for the registration city (SB for Stalburg city), followed by the coat of arms of the administrative region, the code continues with a random string of two letters ranging from AA to ZZ, and three number ranging from 000 to 999. Other known city codes include KV, LK, SR, SH and ST, and TV.

Government Plates

In addition to standard civilian license plates, Stolland also has two types of government license plates.

TSL

For the first type, the registration code always begins with CV, and is followed by a coat of arms on an orange stripe, the code continues with a random string that starts with three numbers ranging from 000 to 999, a single number or a letter with unknown letter range, and finally a single letter ranging from A to Z. On this design, the country code on the Euroband is slightly smaller and positioned lower. During INFRA, a vehicle with such license plate is seen only once on Business map module.

For the second type, the registration code always begins with letter V, followed by coat of arms of the Police, followed by letter S, after an empty space the code continues with four random numbers ranging from 0000 to 9999. On this design the Euroband is not present at all, making the license plate alone not eligible for international travel without additional separate country identification. This type of license plate is primarily seen on police vehicles, but is not limited to, as seen on an old Loda car in Business map module.

Trivia

• The original Terästalia name is a combination of two different words for steel, Teräs from Finnish language and Stal in varing forms used by many Eastern European countries.
  • Similarly the Stolland name originates from Stål from Swedish.
