After giving six pack of beer to border inspector, Mark is allowed to enter the Turnip Hill Turnip Hill is closed place with its own economy and strictly controlled access in and outside of the area.
History
Turnip Hill was built in early 80's, but as the funding was cut the project was stopped and the placed become occupied by homeless people mainly. In recent years, government decided to introduce new business plan and revive the place. Economy had been established mostly on Mushroom and Alcohol products sold on black market, royalties from The Pineapple and confiscated welfare of citizens gradually paid in local currency called OS Coins.
Current status
Homeless people, lower class and political opponents are transferred here. This deliberate immigration rate is so high, that there is almost no place for new citizens. Moreover, the whole place is in so bad shape, that ceiling is missing on some floors and a few sections are completely closed.
