Before the events of INFRA, the Bergmann Group was constructing a cistern. The Stalburg Bank began to lobby against the project despite how close to it was to completion, arguing that it posed a security risk to the bank. On the verge of bankruptcy, the Bergmann Group had to abandon the project, leaving several worklights, vehicles and equipment to collect dust. Following the cancellation of the project and total bankruptcy of the Bergmann group, one worker was driven to alcoholism and committed suicide in the unfinished cistern, the body is nowhere to be seen. Mark passes through here in his attempt to reach the surface. Descending and ascending from the many platforms, he makes his way to basement of a nearby powerstation.

Story

Prior to the events of INFRA, the Bergmann Group was constructing a cistern. The Stalburg Bank began to lobby against the project despite how close to it was to completion, arguing that it posed a security risk to the bank. On the verge of bankruptcy, the Bergmann Group had to abandon the project, leaving their worklights, vehicles and other equipment behind. Following the cancellation of the project and total bankruptcy of the Bergmann group, one worker was driven to alcoholism and committed suicide in the unfinished cistern, the body is nowhere to be seen.

Mark passes through here from the ventilation shafts in his attempt to reach the surface. He utilizes the maintenance lift to access the top of the catwalk to open an outflow gate, then rapidly descends back down before it closes. Ascending once more via the pipes to the top of the cistern, Mark finds a path leading to service tunnels of a nearby powerstation.
