Main story countries
Stolland
Main article: Stolland
Stolland is a fictional country that is the main setting for both games, and is one of the two countries that physically appear.
Finland
Finland is the other of the two countries that physically appear in INFRA, only during the Party Like it's 2011 ending. It is also the country where INFRA's protagonist, Markku Siltanen, is originally from.
Sweden
Sweden is a country that borders Stolland on the south-western side. The southern borders are heavily altered in comparison to its real-life counterpart, as a result of the existence of Stolland primarly on those territories.
Swedish language itself is one of the three official languages of Stolland, as the Swedish population has its minority in the country. Local ATMs, Payment Machines and Parcel Lockers offer user interface in Swedidsh language, as well as Stalburg Bank is providing a native Swedish-speaking customer support. Stalburg Times is said to distribute a Swedish-language version, known as the Stalborg Tidning, however such issues are never actually found by the player in either of the games. One of Stolland's administrative regions uses the Swedish Three Crowns emblem in its coat of arms. The Troubled Man, a real book by a Swedish writer Henning Mankell, became an international bestseller, including in Stolland.
The flag of Sweden is found in multiple locations in Obenseuer game. A Swedish gang known as Svamppatrullen (Swedish for Mushroom Patrol) operates from Deekula C top floors, its members include Swede Julius Öberg. A Swedish-made Röd Snus is smuggled into Stolland and distributed in Obenseuer. The owner of the Money Exchange, Jörge Af Guldsköld, is also Swedish.
Denmark
Denmark is a country that borders Stolland on the north-eastern side. Unlike its real-life counterpart, the areas of current-day Skåne County belong to Denmark, instead of Sweden, as a result of many war conflicts between the two nations.

Switzerland
Switzerland is the country in which Bergmann Group is based, founded in St. Gallen by Edward Kleinmann in the late 1800s.
Belgium
Belgium is the home country of Bergmann Group co-founder Xeander Berg, who emigrates to Switzerland following the collapse of the Belgian defensive forces. The nation is also home to the Brussels International Exposition.
Germany
Several historical periods of Germany are referenced:
- Weimar Germany was the home of Bergmann Group co-founder Eric Kleinmann.
- Nazi Germany was responsible for the bombings of Stalburg during the second world war, leading to the post-war reconstruction.
- West Germany was the location of several public, Bergmann Group construction projects that ran into issues in 1977 following the disappearance of Xeander Berg.

Japan is a country whose capital city of Tokyo is displayed at the Alcista Office Complex, showing its timezone to be 7 hours ahead of Stolland's.
Ken Nakahara is a Japanese resident, who was detained at Stalburg International Airport during his vacation in Stalburg and got relocated to the Obenseuer district. A Japanese-style apartment, with the flag of Japan and a wall painting of Mount Fuji, is found inside Kolhola tenement under address A18.
Nigeria
Nigeria is a country where the Development Bank is based in, which in 1982 was used by a scammer under the pseudonym of Möhyl Muhol to scam Hammer Valley Sawmill owner in Stolland out of half a million US dollars.
North Korea

Norway
Norway is a country that borders Stolland on its south-eastern side. The flag of Norway is found in multiple locations in Obenseuer game.

Spain is a country that hosted a match between Italy and Poland in the 1982 FIFA World Cup at the Balaídos Stadium in the city of Vigo.
United Kingdom
United Kingdom is a country whose capital city of London is displayed at the Alcista Office Complex, showing its timezone to be 2 hours behind the Stolland's. Sonador Broadcasting Service also provides services in London.
Freight train locomotives around Stalburg Region are seen bearing British Rail logo, suggesting the British company to have presence in Stolland.
On April 2nd, 1982 a war between Argentina and British overseas territory of Falklands has broke out, 74 days later the Argentina surrended to the Major General Jeremy Moore of the British Forces. Aftermath left the international relations severely damaged.
United States
A 1979 Stalburg Times article references the crash of American Airlines Flight 191 in Chicago, Illinois. Another article for the same day reports on the execution of John Spenkelink in Florida by electric chair.

Teknokraattinen Tasavalta
Teknokraattinen Tasavalta (Finnish for Technocratic Isocracy) is a fictional country that is one of the main fractions in the upcoming VALTA game. The country flag of Teknokraattinen Tasavalta is found in multiple locations in INFRA, suggesting its existence as early as 2016.
In the 2200s, this faction is said to have access to the finest granite, steel and concrete in the world. It is far more prosperous and high-tech in comparison to other societies. Unlike others, the faction is capable of space colonization.
Osmoman Union
Osmoman Union (Finnish: Osmostoliittto) is a fictional country that is a producer and an exporter of electric motors, that are used in Stalburg. The flag of the country is found painted on the concrete walls in Tower, Servicetunnel and Business.
Osmoman Union itself is a reference to a faction, known under many names, on a private CyberNordics Minecraft server, the faction was created by the developer Zuntti and later was also joined by developer Oskutin.
Luftahraan
Luftahraan is a possible fictional country that is a producer and an exporter of canned SM34 compound.
Luftahraan itself is a reference to an abandoned Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim overhaul modification called the same name, which was started by one of the developers - Oskutin.
Unknown tropical island
A fictional tropical island where the SunCity is located at, which the travel advertisements of are seen around on the red Stalburg buses. Palm Air airlines offer a connection between Stalburg and SunCity.
SunCity itself is a reference to an unfinished Garry's Mod map called RP_Suncity, which was a project lead by one of the developers - |Yucca|.
Livonia
Livonia is a real-life historical region, it is unknown if it exists as a modern-day fictional country, however Livonian people are a minority group in Stalburg, and their flag is found in multiple locations in INFRA.
