Trivia[edit | edit source]

A pack of Sisu candies with a distinct font, making it look like "Gifu"
  • Gifu is based on a Finnish truck manufacturer Sisu, with the U360 combining various design aspects from modern commercial Sisu trucks, most likely including the E-series and C600 truck, and the Armytruck being inspired by military Sisu A-45 truck.
  • The fictional name itself comes from a separate Sisu candy brand, whose logo font "𝔖𝔦𝔣𝔲" ressembles the spelling of "Gifu".
  • Gifu trucks also appear in My Summer Car, another Finnish indie game, featuring an 1978 Gifu 405 T model in a Vaccum and Box variants based on a real Sisu M-162 truck. Despite the brand's presence in both games, its inclusion by both developers was purely coincidental and in both cases it was a play on the same joke.
  • Gifu logo uses the same font as the original Loiste Interactive logo.
