This level is the first real level in the game, and fairly straight forward. The player starts out at Mark's truck and has to get to the Hammer Valley Dam, taking pictures of anything broken or of interest along the way. The player can also choose to fix some spots that are broken, or would become broken without intervention.

This Old Power Plant hasn't had any maintenance in 13 years and the person assigned to maintain it, "J.K." may have had a heart attack. One of the generators here is broken, and the gate that allows water to flow through also seems to be blocked with sticks and other debris.

The river area and surrounding infrastructure preceding Hammer Valley Dam. Mark begins his journey here and has to get to the Hammer Valley Dam, taking pictures of anything broken or documents of interest along the way. The player is also introduced to the optional objectives of repairing certain spots that are broken, or otherwise would become broken without intervention.

Story[edit | edit source]

The section of Hammer Valley above the Hammer Valley Dam shows signs of life, yet not many. An old power plant appears to serve the area, yet the last known record of occupancy is from 2003 - some 13 years before. There is a nearby village, but every door is locked and there are few signs of recent human habitation. Nearby railroad tracks are still in use, yet blocked by a tree that likely fell in a storm the previous night. Many areas here are completely optional, but still feature a jump start into INFRA's vast amounts of lore. Look closely at paths into the woods, for each path holds some secrets.

INFRA[edit | edit source]

Mark exits his car and calls Paul to inform him of his arrival and ask for any last minute surveying tips. Paul tells Mark that he should start taking pictures of anything broken or documents of interest along the way to help their cause.

Mark can also choose to fix some spots that are broken, or would break without intervention, such as malfunctioning generators or water flow meters. Mark surveys the nearby power plant, and reaches the top of the dam, proceeding to repair the elevator to get the dam's interior.

Locations[edit | edit source]

Old Power Plant[edit | edit source]

This power plant was once being serviced by J.K., but hasn't seen any maintenance in 13 years. One of the generators is broken, and the gate that allows water to flow through also seems to be blocked with sticks and other debris.

Morning Wood Co. Shack[edit | edit source]

A small office for a logging zone company. This company's work was cut short, partly due to the Hammer Valley Dam going bankrupt and stopping the flow of logs. This also shows the first signs of corruption, where they never received payment for the logs they sent to the sawmill.

Moonshine Cavern[edit | edit source]

A cave off the beaten path that contains a small moonshine distillery, this is one of many distilleries that were being used by moonshiners in the area to transport moonshine down the Hammer Valley River to Obenseuer.

Top of the Hammer Valley Dam[edit | edit source]

There isn't much in terms of story here, however it is possible to see the extent of external damage to the dam and where the logs would travel through to reach the bottom of the Dam. Photographing the large crack in the dam slightly changes dialogue in the next map.
