Richard was a scientist in the Bunker. He went crazy and painted his walls with pictures of Mörkö, and used a sledgehammer to break open the wall into the secret computer room. In a document he is reprimanded for using a screwdriver to support the reflector over the core, a reference to the Demon core experiment in real life.
