After finding the first set of auxiliary generators flooded, the second set must be activated to turn on the power to gain access to the reactor and shut it down safely.
Solution[edit source]
In order to restore the power all the generators must be turned on and synchronised to the grid. This can take a bit of trial and error as the synchroscopes are a bit tricky to align.
- Go down to the three generators and press the three buttons next to them.
- Enter the control room overlooking them and manipulate each synchroscope with the two buttons next to them to get the needle stopped on the "In sync" line.
- Press the "Breaker" button next to the syncroscope.
If the needle is not correctly aligned or is moving, then the generator will stop when the breaker button is pushed. To restart the generator, press the button next to the generator again.
