Osmo Olut was founded in 1988 by an [[Obenseuer]] local named Osmo Saarinen. It was founded because Osmo felt bad for all the unemployed homeless people that were workers in [[Stalburg Steel]] and were sent to Obenseuer against their will after Stalburg Steel collapsed in 1981 and they lost their jobs.
