Nuclear Waste Repository, also known simply as NW, is an S.N.W base located beneath the Obenseuer district.

Overview

The entire scope of the base is unknown, in both INFRA and Obenseuer games, one of its main entrances, a large vehicle access gate referred to as City Gates is visited. Additionally in Obenseuer, one of its nuclear waste repositories, designated as B2, is also shown. The interrogation room seen in the Underground Justice ending of INFRA is designated by one of the S.N.W maps to also be located in that base.

City Gates

The City Gates is a large gate designed to serve large vehicles, such as cargo trucks. The tunnel ramp leading to the gate has since been collapsed, trapping one of the trucks with an ammunition cargo inside. Above the gate is an observation deck and next to the gate is the numerical access panel. The access panel has two small vents that deploy a paralyzing agent when an incorrect access code is entered. The larger cave the gate is located in also contains a small personnel elevator that connects to now-public Obenseuer Metro station that in the past was a part of the nuclear waste transportation tunnels when the base was active.

Speculative Information

The original purpose of the base indicates it was made as a permanent storage for nuclear waste from both the Blackrock Nuclear Power Plant and the Bunker research. All three bases are connected via a network of minitrain tunnels.

The base also appears to house the G.A.L.E.N machine of an unknown purpose and is a destination Mörkö is suspected to take or lead the people in. Many people with advanced Fungal Disease or those already dead and stuck in Other Side actively attempt to look for and reach whatever is inside the base.
