In the August of 2026, Pia has contracted the [[Fungal Disease]], which forced her to isolate herself in her house in secrecy to not be moved into the Quarantine Zone. She has been continuously treated by [[Fredrik ~~Parker~~]] with a weekly-given medicine, that successfuly allowed her to remain alive for unusually long time with the disease. With the medicine she remains fully able and experienced only mild effects of the fungal growth, with the further growth on her body halted. While in house isolation, she is reliant on the care of Alice, who delivers the medicine and checks up on her.
