An extensive stormdrain system underneath West Stalburg and its interconnected maintenance tunnels. This map doesn't feature much history behind it, and instead contains multiple paths, with flood doors being the primary obstacle to circumnavigate. A few puzzles, as well as an action sequence are also present.
Story[edit | edit source]
Mark's exit from the bunker using the ventilation shafts leads him to recently inhabited sewer tunnels. His progress is halted by a flood door locked by a flush pipe endlessly flooding the room. Mark can either forcibly stop the flooding by turning a valve, at the expense of making the district's water supply line acidic with sewage, or manipulate valves to close the flush lines separably, keeping the water supply clean. Behind the door is a maintenance tunnel, but Mark quickly finds another flood door blocks the way. Someone has refurbished the control panel into a coffee machine. Mark powers the machine and uses it to open passage to the stormdrain. As he enters the tunnel, an alarm sounds, signaling a floodwave is coming. Mark escapes by forcing a water flow measurer down to open yet another flood door leading to minitrain tunnels.
Mark uses the minitrains to progress further down the stormdrain, overcoming more doors and puzzles until he reaches an impassable gate, and opts to use another ventilation shaft to find a way of getting back to the surface.
Locations[edit | edit source]
Sewer[edit | edit source]
The sewer is an area likely leading to the stormdrain underneath it, but is backed up by sludge and litter, and shows signs of being occupied by squatters.
West Stalburg Runoff Discharge System[edit | edit source]
The location the map is named after. Features a long tunnel likely connected to sewers all over Stalburg, leading to a drainage runoff. The tunnels aren't in good shape, a utility light has collapsed with part of the ceiling on one end, and a runoff tunnel is infested with green mushrooms. Two of the emergency outflow gates leading to the unfinished cistern are broken too, while the facility itself has several leaks and concrete faults.
Minitrain Rails[edit | edit source]
This self-contained rail system is used for conveying minitrains through the stormdrain to the runoff tunnels. Several of the doors are jammed, and someone has left the minitrains to run loops around the tunnels without supervision.
UGU Cave[edit | edit source]
A naturally formed cave behind a broken wall in the stormdrains. Within the caves is a strange deformed statue nicknamed UGU, surrounded by blue mushrooms and plants hanging from the ceiling. Mark can take a picture of it, but will not comment.
Mushroom Cellar[edit | edit source]
A locked off dwelling used by one of the many squatters after the stormdrain tunnels. Inside is a living space, a green mushroom farm hidden inside a pipe, and a document referring to other squatters at "Mushroom Co." and the first mention of the blue mushrooms.

- Closing the pipe instead of keeping the flush lines separated will incur a mistake penalty.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- If Mark drinks the special coffee brew, he'll hallucinate an entity resembling Mörkö. Drinking three cups of the special coffee will result in Mörkö opening the flood door.
- The mushroom coffee brew will cause Mark's vision to become saturated for a short time.
- Behind a wooden pallet in the sewer is a conveniently placed sponge next to graffiti of a pink starfish, this is possibly a reference to the American animated television series Spongebob Squarepants.
