"A game where the world is yours"[2]

VALTA is an upcoming concretepunk/dieselpunk[3] real-time[4] multiplayer strategy[2] game being developed by Loiste interactive with emphasis on society and economics,[5], expected to be completed not sooner than in 2023.[2]

Two hundred years into future civilization has — besides one exception — shattered into tiny city states, and vast wastes ruled by bandits and tribes. Without law and organization, there is no advanced technology, all what we have is manufactured in workshops with crude tools, and whats left of the prosperous past — but they're reserved for the elite! In Valta your task is – together with your people – to set the path towards a brighter future. You will deal with economy and politics making use of your strategic thinking and different faces of power. Who will prevail?[2]

It was confirmed by Oskutin that VALTA will make some references to INFRA,[6] as well as player will be able to build tenements.[7]

Trivia

  • Beer brand from INFRA - Osmo Olut presents on concept arts and will make appearance in VALTA;
  • The V-flag seen in INFRA is referenced as one of societies in VALTA[8] that is more prosperous and hightech as well as uses the finest granite, steel and concrete.[9]
