INFRA

The Red Book

This red book appears in interesting locations throughout the game. But the meaning of the book is still a mystery. it was implied by one of the developers (Oskutin) that the book might have some importance. However, it is likely that the cover is not important, as the texture comes from Textures.com, as pointed out by Willisika. As it has a bird on the cover and is red, it may be related to mentions of 'red raven' in special/mask_sound_001.wav (see ARG audio files)

Historical Dates

While exploring the world of INFRA player can come across dates which are references to historical events.

oldconcrete_065_graffiti.vtf	Found in the underground hall at the end of the Metroride. The train cars the fist is punching heavily resemble those from the metro accident found in the bunker, being a similar shade of green

Words on the mural starting from the top and going clockwise are: Stalburg Underground, Ah?, Water Trees, Osmo Olut, Open Sewer, (Beer/Body), Erik, Robin, (???), PS worker (power station worker), Mask, Machine, Legend of the Underground, Green Mushroom, and Tunnel Monster.

This book is made by Silvia H. Raven. and it has some kind of code E.1 S.9 H.8 C.2 on the back cover.
The book is referred in the Hammer valley mural aka. "the water trees mural". Could be worth looking into.

Villa Cane

There is a cane found lying on the floor of the Villa in the same room as the defaced paintings.
Presumably it belonged to Jeff Walter (as shown in his portrait found elsewhere in the Villa).
The patterns visible on the metalwork of the cane are reminiscent of those seen in "Elo's Hideout" in the Isle2 map.
Possibly related to the ARG?

Found after the train station in the city after all hell breaks loose. Commented by Oskutin with E1 Under?

FM

Found on its own with nothing near or next to it probably just some random letters. In the Bergmann tunnels, just across the two controllable bridges, above a table. The letters are also briefly visible on the wall of the elevator shaft when exiting the Bergmann tunnels.

Other locations for these letters include Point Elias, in a corner in a parking garage and in Turnip Hill on a wall near O-market.

A table containing elements which start with a single letter, followed by a 3-digit number. The top row is labeled from GD1 to GD15.
Commented on by Oskutin in the ARG discord channel on June 5, 2020: "this seems that it can fit a lot of information", "if you figure out what GD means then it gets easier"

Obscured Language/Chinese Characters on Bridge

On the support beams/girder of the Railway Bridge in Chapter 2, very faint Chinese characters are visible. The same characters appear on every beam, and the characters do not appear to be present on the texture file when the source textures are inspected.

Adjusting the contrast, brightness and colour saturation of the image we can improve the clarity of the characters. The identified characters are as follows:

• 報 - Bào -English Translation - "newspaper"
• 官 - Guān - English Translation - "official"
• 治 - Zhì - English Translation - "rule"
• 理 - Lǐ - English Translation - "reason"

However, the characters may take on a different meaning when merged together. All characters when written together, may translate to:

報官治理 - Bào guān zhìlǐ - "Reporting to officials for governance" or alternatively "Newspaper governance", "Reporting to the police", "Report to the authorities" or "Report to the government"

OsRat Chalk board

in the apartment where the OsRat is found, there is a chalk board seemingly showing its workings and development.

the two symbols on the far sides of the ---><--- are also found in the wasteland notes, and the spiral one in Elo's hideout in INFRA.

the last symbol in the set of 5 symbols on the right of the board (not counting the infinity sign) also appears in the wasteland notes

the small writing in the bottom right says 'who is AH? red raven signals'

this seems to connect to special/mask_sound_001.wav which also mentions a 'red raven'

The large text on the right side gives a usage guide:

Below this is an infinity symbol. in INFRA, on the box that controls isle3's drawbridge lights, there is graffiti of a raven and an infinity symbol.

The large text on the left says

This list seems to correlate to the top left diagram, which also shows five stages. stage 3 has a radiation symbol over it, and is directly under where the two ---><--- lines meet.
