Story
Past events
After Xeander Berg's escape from the bunker, he managed to get in contact with Jeff Walter. Walter used his finances to provide Berg with a hiding spot in a local resident's cellar to hide from S.N.W operatives searching for him. However, Berg was showing symptoms of SMV, he documented his own attempts to find a cure for the disease in his diary.
Unfortunately, he was unable to develop one and succumbed to the virus. Some time later, Eric Kleinmann discovered his body, or what remained of it, and committed suicide.
INFRA
When Mark arrives on the island, his path to the NCG office in Point Elias is blocked by a raised drawbridge, he must find another way through underneath the maintenance area of the bridge, which has been robbed by moonshiners due to one of the workers not paying the moonshiners for their product.
Mark scavenges the island for the missing components to repair generators and grant him passage to the bridge's interior.
Locations
Castle Stalburg
A historical site for for the remains of an old castle. Humorously, the infoboard regarding the castle storehouse explains it was destroyed when a 'Sir Robert' was moving gunpowder to the storehouse. Sir Robert is likely an ancestor of Robin.
Xeander Berg's Hideout
A small cellar located behind a locked door, Berg committed himself to studying SMV here, his notes indicated the symptoms of the disease, and that orange mushrooms cannot be used for a cure. A jar of polonium-210 and the code to the underground city gates (4027) can also be found here.

Mistake Targets
- Breaking into Marko's battery store will incur a mistake penalty.
- Failure to return the generator control panel to its original setting will incur a mistake target.[3] This mistake target is bugged and cannot be avoided.[4]

Trivia
- Several of the island's residents can be spotted enjoying the sunset or partying inside the Retired Fisherman cafe. None of them can be interacted with.
