Deekula A is an apartment complex located in Obenseuer. The general condition of the complex is below average, with structural damage and poor maintenance prevalent throughout its facade.

Important Locations[edit | edit source]

  • The Tenement Contract Work! establishment, located on the 1st floor, allows the player to interact with Samuel Jonasson and upgrade their tenement.
  • The Dr. Pena, MD medical office, located on the 2nd floor, lets the player receive medical treatment when needed.

Tenement Contract Work![edit | edit source]

Located on the ground floor, the Tenement Contract Work establishment allows the player to upgrade their tenement. As of the current version, this is the only way to upgrade your establishment.

Getting Started:[edit | edit source]

  • The Tenement Contract Work business is run by Samuel Jonasson, and the player can start upgrades after speaking to Malone Petronis and continuing progress on the Getting Started quest.
  • After interacting with Samuel and unlocking access to the Tenement Upgrade GUI, the player will need to first examine apartments that they can access in order to upgrade them. The apartments also need to be cleaned with various amounts of disinfectant, sanitizer, and bleach before they can be upgraded or inhabited by tenants.
  • A tenement resources chest, located to the left of Samuel, can be used to safely store items used for upgrades (or for anything). It is recommended to salvage and collect valuable items and store them in the tenement resources chest for future upgrades.
  • Once enough money has been accrued, and all necessary materials are gathered for a particular upgrade, the player can then purchase an upgrade for an apartment which will take time to complete, depending on what is being upgraded and what level.

Upgrading Apartments:[edit | edit source]

  • To upgrade an apartment, the player must interact with Samuel and prompt, "I need an upgrade." After that, the Tenement Upgrade GUI will open, with each floor on a top ribbon that can be viewed. To upgrade a specific component, the player must click on the utility they wish to upgrade, and then click on the upgrade that they desire to start.
  • Immediately upon starting an upgrade, a fare in OC (upgrade-dependent) is charged and the items are taken. Once the upgrade is complete (after time), the player must pay a fare in RM to finish the work.

For more information about upgrading and managing the player tenement, please visit the player tenement page.

Purchasing Machinery:[edit | edit source]

  • To purchase industrial machinery, the player can interact with Samuel and prompt, "I would like to buy something." Upon prompting Samuel, the buy-menu will open and allow the player to purchase any machinery that is available at the time.
  • As time progresses, and as the tenement increases in level, the player will gain access to more expensive and sophisticated machines that will greatly improve crafting times and efficiency.

Additional Notes:[edit | edit source]

  • The Tenement Contract Work business features a Worktable that allows the player to craft and dismantle furniture items.
  • Samuel's home appears to be in a shipping container that is lodged into the side of the building. There are a few containers that can be looted in the shipping container, as well as other items placed around.
  • There is a safe that can be accessed with the combination (3-30-3-30); the combination can be found written inside of a broken mirror in the back of the room next to the toilet, and the safe can be found on the left-hand side wall behind a wooden box.
  • In the back passage-ways of the room, there is a basement access door that leads to the Deekula basement.

Dr. Pena, MD[edit | edit source]

Located on the first floor, Dr. Pena MD allows the player to pay money to heal wounds, correct mental health, and treat fungal disease.

Getting Started:[edit | edit source]

  • To interact and receive treatment from Dr. Pena MD, you must collect a Dr. Pena MD Ticket and wait for the door buzzer to turn green. Once the buzzer rings, the door to Dr. Pena's office will unlock and the player can interact with Dr. Pena after giving him the ticket. Lockpicking in to the office without a ticket will prevent Dr. Pena from interacting with the player, unless they have a ticket.

Treatments:[edit | edit source]

Each treatment consists of two stages - examination and the treatment itself. It is possible to simply end the interaction after receiving diagnosis and go self-medicate.

One can be examined for physical health or mental health, tested for fungal disease, radiation or addictions.

Additional Notes:[edit | edit source]

  • In Dr. Pena's office, there is a Chemical Lab that can be used to create chemicals and solvents.
  • On the table next to the operating table, there is a bottle of prescription painkillers, prescription sleeping pills, dirty bandages, batteries, and a flashlight that can all be looted.
  • There is a rubber duck underneath the Chemical Lab, watching the player and judging their every move.
