Tunnel of Water Trees

This quest can be obtained from Mike Palmer, in the same time as his other quest Letter for Emilie Palmer. Discussing his condition will eventually lead to him talking about a book he read once. This book is called "The Tunnel of Water Trees". He lacks the book now, however, and can only suggest that it can be found at the Book Store at the Bazaar district.

Making inquiries about this book at the book store reveals that the last two copies of the book were obtained by Welho.

Welho readily admits he obtained the books, however he is of an opinion that the information contained within is far too dangerous even for True Welhous to handle, therefore he had ordered his "apprentice" Mikail to burn the books. He explains that Mikail lives in the shack house somewhere in the middle of Bazaar slums. There is an outdoors shower right next to his front door.

Finding Mikail is a bit of a chore - his shack is adjacent to the back of the building housing Mentti B, near the entrance to Rob-In Build and Repair. His house will probably require breaking in, because he does not seem to be hanging outside at any times. Mikail is not particularly happy with the sudden visit, but nonetheless talks about the books without any additional push. He explains that he did exactly as Welho asked and burned the books, but there might be stray loose pages to be found throughout his shack. There are nine pages in total to be collected (they are collected as a multi-page note).

Informing Welho about the collected pages concludes the quest.
