The Guild

The Guild is a side quest in Obenseuer game, given by Arvo Kirkastaja after completing his previous quest, Vocational Education.

Activating the quest

After completing Vocational Education quest, Player has the ability to ask Arvo Kirkastaja about getting the Moonshine Cooperative Membership, which starts the quest.

Before allowing the player to join the cooperative, Arvo will ask him to collect 3 recommendations from other members. While not providing the list of members directly to the player, he'll advise him to look around the Bazaar and the Trade Road.

Once the player gather the 3 recommendations, Arvo will allow him to join for a nominal fee of 1.300 RM, giving access to the cooperative's installations, as well as being able to sell the player made drinks (with the exception of moonshines) to the owner of Alco, the Bazaar's alcohol shop.

• Malone Petronis (if still in the Tenement after Orange Heaven)
• Max Masher
  • If the player completed the Me Mash! quest, Max will agree to give the recommendation right away, but he is... hard to work with. After failing twice to write a recommendation, he'll ask the player to find his phone to call Arvo straight away. The phone is located between 2 planters in the mushroom growing area of Max's appartment.
• Jooseppi Tuoppi
  • Jooseppi Tuoppi, the barman on the second floor of Bar Bizarre will provide his recommendation only if the player beats him to a drinking competition. The competiotion basically consist of drinking pints after pints of beer, with Jooseppi's "life bar" depleting after each. While a player with enough Drinking skill might survive the drinking session, a less experimented one might pass out before the end. If that happened, starting the competition again will not restore Jooseppi's life bar. Once he lost to the competition, leave him alone until he wakes up and ask for the recommendation.
• Wizard Welhö (If completed The True Welho quest)
  • Even if the player is already a Welhö Wizard following the completion of The True Welhö, Welhö will provide his recommendation only if the player brings him a liter of at least Fine quality Mushroom Moonshine.
• Pentti Penttilä (If completed Me Mash! quest)
  • Pentti will ask the player to provide him with 1.000 RM worth of mash before agreeing to give his recommendation.
• Crazy Neighbor (If choosen at the start of the game)
