In Obenseuer, player's character has several status effects, needs and addictions player has to keep in check to survive. Addictions are dependent on Starting Choices, but can also be gotten during the game by overuse of substances.
Health statuses
Physical Health
Dependent on satisfied hunger and thirst, player dies when reached 0%. Painkillers, bought at Skeida Pharmacy, apply healing effect for a limited time, player can pay for medical examination at Dr. Pena MD to get a prescription for stronger Painkillers.
Bleeding
Effect applied when player gets cuts from touching thorny fence, getting cought in bear traps or cutting themselves from high depression, effect drains slowly physical health. Applied Bandages and Bandaids, bought at Skeida Pharmacy, help with stopping the bleeding.
Burning
Hidden effect applied from sauna overheating, effect drains slowly physical health. Leaving the hot area will stop burning, player can use showers to reduce overheating.
Mental Health
Dependent on the unsatisfied addiction needs, quality of beds and quality and variety of food, by default it slowly drains on its own, low mental health is equal to high depression. Antidepressants, bought at Skeida Pharmacy, long sessions in sauna, better beds, eating green mushrooms and more variet food of higher quality help with reducing depression, player can pay for medical examination at Dr. Pena MD to get a prescription for stronger Antidepressants, being drunk from alcohol temporarily suppresses the depression.

Hunger
Basic need satisfied by eating food, each food is defined by the nutrients amount they provide to satisfy the need. Having a fungal disease forces to change diet into food with green mushrooms.
Thirst
Basic need satisfied by drinking water and drinks, each fluid is defined by the hydration amount they provide to satisfy the need. Having a fungal disease forces to change drinking water to Shroom Water.
Bowel and Bladder
Two needs combined into one status effect that grow over time from eating and drinking, can be satisfied at any toilet, one such can be found right off the O-Market. If player will not satisfy the needs in time, they will fill empty bottles with urine and produce Shit, hurting the physical health in the process.
