Mashing is the first step of brewing, it is done using a Mashing Barrel, that needs fuel, or a Mashing Kettle, that needs electricity. The player can either find recipes for various mashes or guess them once all ingredients are placed inside machine's storage. While the quality of ingredient plays a large part on the final quality, bottling also matters a lot. The container you pick can make or break your final price. For the best payout, always go for Wine Bottles or Fancy Glass Bottles, as they fetch the highest value.

In this example, one liter of excellent quality Strawberry Liquor's value fluctuate between 819 {{OC}} in a 20L container, 1140 {{OC}} in a 1.5L Wine Bottle and 2320 {{OC}} in a Fancy Glass Bottle, meaning using Fancy Glass Bottles instead of 20L container can almost triple the final sell price.
