Cleaning Mode is used to clear Player's Tenement of junk, furniture, debris, and waste to prepare for renovations.
Overview[edit | edit source]
After acquiring a Tenement Blueprint from Malone Petronis and fully examining a specific apartment, the player unlocks Cleaning Mode for that apartment.
In Cleaning Mode, the player can remove all furniture for themselves and clean the space. Cleaning must be completed before any renovations can begin. By default, Cleaning Mode is toggled with the L key.
Cleaning Process[edit | edit source]
To fully clean an apartment, the player must:
- Remove all furniture.
- Use Disinfectant to clear biohazards and trash bags.
- Use Cleaning Spray to remove graffiti off walls.
- Use Bleach to eliminate mold.
Supplies:
- Cleaning Spray and Bleach are available at O-Market.
- Disinfectant is available at Skeida Pharmacy.
- All three items may also be found while looting during exploration.
Other Areas[edit | edit source]
- Cleaning Mode is also available in the Basement Sauna and pool area once the basement is renovated to Makeshift I. However, cleaning these areas is not required to begin renovation.
- Similar functionality is available in Building Mode at the stairwell or inside the player’s apartment, following the same cleaning steps.
